Argh! I’m really having a hard time making a perfectly risen loaf of bread. 😦 Today I opted out of the 2nd rise because each other time, my initial rise was the best. unfortunately, today, this did not make a difference. For some unknown reason, the dough rose, but did not rise as it had in the past. There was no roundness to the top; it only rose flat up. 😦 What am I doing wrong??
