so, i heard about these body composition analyzers and have been skeptical about what i could learn from it. how important is it to know the approximate body mass, % body fat, visceral fat, metabolic rate, etc? it is an impressive list of details about my body that my new toy boasts to tell. 🙂 i went through the stats today and will track the stats consistendly to see how the #’s change or reflect my impression of my state of being. so far it thinks i have the metabolic rate of a 12 year old! hahaha, if only i truly felt like i had that metabolism. 🙂 otherwise, my stats say i am a healthy, athletic woman. i’ll let you know if i learn anything from this exercise, but i wonder if anyone else has tried this and were able to gleen anything from the data over time?
