Summer ended quick this year!

Did summer fly by or what??

Last night as I drove into Vancouver, I didn’t know I would also be driving into October. The wind was blowing leaves around the streets and large drops of rain were pellting my car.  The early sunset due to dark looming clouds and the temperature drop to the low 60’s spoke of true Fall weather.  This morning, the news was filled with information from the wind storm last night–powerlines down, places without power, street lights not functioning, etc.  A wind storm!  In September!  I can’t believe it.  And to think just Monday I was enjoying high 80’s with 65+% humidity with sunny skies.  Talk about an abrupt end to a brief summer.

(i should remember all the warm days we experienced in the early spring! 🙂  this weather is messed up.)

It\’s really sad. Costco is already selling christmas-related items (snowmen, christmas lights etc.)

that is just wrong! i saw Halloween stuff on display over Labor Day!! It\’s no wonder the years feel like they go by faster and faster…or is that just age. 😛

That just means that the real climbing season is here. The rock out out Little Sit felt really good and cool yesterday. I am really looking forward to the fall and sending some really sick climbs.
