Internet at 37000′

Probably the coolest technological experience of my recent trip was the availability of the internet while flying (SAS). It costs ~10 an hour or ~30 for the whole trip.  The signal was strong and the connection reliable. It became very easy to pass the time and get a lot of work done. Wish the other legs of my trip were as equipped.  Definitely two thumbs up.

On the other hand, concourse connectivity was miserable: spotty, low to non-existant signal, and confusing sign up pages. Cost is ~7 for 24 hours, but for the service quality, it seemed too much.
